I love racial tension

Check this out! People are getting so pissed right now.

Next door in our cafe they are celebrating Black History Month. By doing so, they are serving fried chicken and greens. The entire menu has been changed to foods that African Americans eat. Wow, people are pissed up in here - up in here. (Subtle DMX reference btw)

They did the same thing on MLK day. I laughed.

When coke ran their commercial during the superbowl they were listing years and an accomplishment by a black person.

example: 1955 a woman refuses to sit in the back of the bus.

The last year was 1963 and reference MLK. I said to my wife "apparently black people haven't done anything since 1963".

She laughed.

A little coincidental that there were two black coaches and they ran that commercial... Don't give me that Black History Month excuse.

How about that Tostitos commercial celebrating diversity? I read a review of the commercials and the writer was like, "Thanks obviously to Tostitos for their great contributions to the Civil Rights Movement."

Why would people be pissed about that? I don't get it...a lot of black people DO like fried chicken and greens. When they are pissed about it, its like they are trying to say it isn't true...and while its a humorous stereotype...is it not true? If it were Chinese New Year, and they served General Tso's Chicken, would chinese people be pissed? I doubt it.

The greatest part is that the main "Chef" is black. LOL

Okay enough with the attempts to pull other races into the continuing issues that Black America and White America have with each other. The history between these two in this Country is without parallel here. Asians have not had nearly the same experiences here. Black's have been characterized by their food choices among other things.

If anyone has the right to be pissed, it's the American Indians. And they wouldn't be pissed if buffalo was served. Trust me, I know.
