Thursday

1) I watched Tears of the Sun on FX this morning. I remember it getting mediocre reviews, but it wasn't half bad. Although, it should be noted that I would watch Monica Bellucci read a phonebook for 3 hours and be thoroughly entertained.

2) So we can all agree that Tim Hardaway is gay, right? Ok, thought so. But here is a website that Phil may be familiar with that actually speculated that the former point guard was gay 5 years ago.

3) While its not official yet, its become infinitely more likely that Vegas will get an NBA team...sooner rather than later. And this is coming from David Stern himself. Weren't we arguing about this a few months back? Well, if so, I think I was right.

4) ESPN's Mel Kiper just released the latest mock draft...and check out who he has the Bears picking, what a steal!

Projected pick: Paul Posluszny, OLB, Penn State
If the Bears can't re-sign Lance Briggs, Posluszny could become his replacement. Posluszny's stock is dropping due to a sub-par senior season. He returned from a knee injury and made a position change to inside linebacker in a new 3-4 scheme. Do not be surprised, though, if he sneaks back into the bottom of the first round after finishing as the career leader in tackles at "Linebacker U."

I'd say you were right on your third goal if the NBA was considering putting a team in Vegas as is, but that's not the case. The problem one of the few that I stated: an issue with gambling on basketball in Vegas.

David Stern's Iron Fist will have something to say about it, that's for sure.

Stu Jackson will hand down a fine to a gambler for celebrating "too vigorously" after the Jazz cover against the Grizzlies on some random Tuesday night AND he hits the over.

did you read the article though? A commissioner of one of the 4 major sports actually coming to the conclusion that "gambling is the american way" and pointing out the existence of state lotteries and slots licenses...this is unprecendented. Trust me, this will happen within 10 years, its inevitable. Hopefully it will coincide with LeBron's free agency in 2010...

Are you really saying that if someone hates gays, that actually makes them gay themselves? That has to be the stupidest thing I've heard. For many of us, we are taught from the time that we are kids that being gay is wrong. Whether it's our parents or bible school, we are told that it is a sin. You have to admit that it is very unnatural to have things go in someone's butt. Come on man, start thinking for yourself instead of listening to the BS you hear on TV.

AWM comment proves why he's gay.

Jnicho, you've yet to find a place to fit in. Did you not like the gay lifestyle?
