'Cause my wife watches Grey's and ER and I get me time.
1) Me and four other people are in the same training class. 3 got phone calls last night not to come into work ever again. They couldn't even make it to the second day.
2) The other guy called in today! Jesus christ. He showed up at 1:30 and finished the day out.
3) So naturally I looked like a rock star. Two hours of role-playing the script, and then go over company culture, and then they put me on the phones.
4) Got my first lead today. Some guy looking to generate 5 million, and possibly an acquisition down the road.
5) Tomorrow officially starts my week. The lead today will rollover to tomorrow. So I need 5 more minimum.
6) I get a one month interview. I have to get 12 leads in the next 4 weeks (actually 11 more) or I'm canned. If I'm close they'll give me two more weeks, but I'll be expected to get 18 leads.
7) There are a bunch of finance dudes who have the job of flying around coast to coast and closing out our business face to face. They literally kiss their family goodbye on Sunday and fly out on monday. On tuesday they sit in the airport until they get a phone call from the company tellint them where to go next. They don't get paid unless they close the deal. Fly home on Friday. Start the whole thing over again.
8) I get an extra $50 if I get another lead before the other guy in my training class.
9) I have to call my team lead tonight and work on the script.
10) I wonder if I, or any of you have talked to any of these people before via AIU.

This place sounds like hell.
Its like aiu on to the tenth power.
It can be hell. No doubt. I heard a bunch of guys on smoke break today talking about the 2-3 grand pay checks they were expecting next week. So there's that to consider too.
what would Nicho say to AWM if AWM were starting this job?? I'd like to add that AWM sent me a text message yesterday proclaiming AIU was the "best thing that ever happened" to me
Sounds like IPA. Except more willing to cut people. IPA always needed even the crappy bodies.
