Gayness

1) "Smith grew up in Texas and went from topless dancer to Playboy Playmate of the Year, Guess jeans model and bride of 89-year-old oilman J. Howard Marshall II. She took her fight for Marshall’s estimated $500 million fortune as far as the Supreme Court, and the ongoing battle could make her infant daughter, Dannielynn, very wealthy. Stern and two other men have claimed to be the baby’s father." Man, what a life! haha

2) So this dipshit is claiming he is a co-founder of Wiki and he's trying to create a site that is the same as Wiki but people can't vandalize it because authors must register first. Well anyways, here's the link. www.citizendium.com Oh, and btw, it looks exactly like Wiki.

3) On Kobe's probability of hitting 100 in a game. Shows how much the game has changed. "Contrast that to the numbers from Chamberlain's 100-point game, and you begin to see where Bryant's and Jackson's disbelief is coming from. Chamberlain shot 36 of 63 from the field and 28 of 32 from the line in his 100-point game March 2, 1962, and the Philadelphia Warriors attempted 115 shots and 52 free throws in that game. (Their opponent, the New York Knicks, attempted 118 field goals and 41 free throws in that game)." The Lakers attempted 86 shots the other night.

4) Finally saw 300 at the IMAX (sorry but the IMAX is overrated). I don't really have much to say about the movie. It was really good but I wish I wouldn't have listened to what everyone was saying. There was no way it was going to live up to the amount of hype people were talking about it. I didn't leave the theatre dissapointed but I didn't really care to talk about it (which for me is a bad sign.) Great action, great visuals, fantastic job of capturing the moment. Lacked in story line (quality-wise) and what was there just didn't come together. Dissapointing ending. It didn't compare to Gladiator or Braveheart. Sin City was overall a better movie imo. Start talking shit whenever you want.

Well put, angry white dude. Actually, the game has changed so much that Oscar Robertson's triple double season really isn't as great as we think it is. Relative to league performance, LeBron's '05-'06 season is actually far more impressive, and is one of the 3-4 greatest single season performances ever. 82games.com actually had a great article about it earlier this year.

Oh, and you suck, and all that..

We've been talking about Citizendium over at Highbrid Nation. Personally I use Wikipedia a lot and I don't see anything knocking it off its top spot. The features that make Citizendium better may just be the features that keep it from having the same sucess as Wikpedia. There can only be one. Who will it be?
