Goalio's

1) Did anyone see Rexy unleash the dragon yesterday? It was fucking beautiful. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful passes I've ever seen. Other than that, it could've of been one of the worst games I've ever seen the Bears play.
2) Saw Cool Hand Luke this weekend for the first time. Quite possibly my favorite Paul Newman film. If I had to pick a younger, present day actor that best embodies Newman's presence on film I'd go with Pitt or Norton.
3) Note to Blackhawks: Enjoy it while it lasts. I imagine the skid will start shortly after Thanksgiving like it does every year.
4) And here are my top ten greatest villians of all time:

Honorable Mention: Jack Torrance from the Shining.

10) That Chick from Fatal Attraction. Jesus Christ was she ever scary.
9) Lex Luthor: Evil Mastermind, who had a lot of great ideas but never quite got the job done.
8) Gabriel: Christopher Walken. 'Nuff said.
7) Terminator - I'm talking the original dude from '84.
6) Rick Flair - The ultimate heel. God I hate this guy. Growing up he was the true embodiement for the term "asshole". Now its me.
5) Michael Myers: As far as pure "evil" he stands out in my mind over Krueger, Jason, Chucky, Leatherface, and the rest of the 80's bunch.
4) Hannibal Lecter: Every sequel showed how much more evil he was. He'd be much lower if you only based it on the Silence of the Lambs.
3) Michael Corleone: What I love about this character was the downward slide into evil followed by a full embrace of the concept.
2) Joan Crawford: The fact that it was all real, makes her quite possibly one of the scariest things ever. "Don't Fuck With me Boys"
1) Darth Vader: Does this need an explanation? Didn't think so.

After Thanksgiving? Like it does every year? I don't know which Blackhawks team you've been watching...but the skid usually starts on opening night...and continues until early April.

Damn right we'll be enjoying this.

How can you leave off John Kramer, aka Jigsaw from the Saw movies? Easily ranks ahead of Lex Luthor and Alex Forest (Glen Close in Fatal Attraction.) In fact, despite the shitty sequel, I'd rank Catherine Trammel (Sharon Stone) from Basic Instinct ahead of Alex Forest. I'd rank Nicholson's Joker in front of either Hackman or Spacey's Lex Luthor.

Have you seen Pan's Labyrinth? Captain Vidal (Sergi Lopez) would have to potentially be on my list also.

Screw it (in no particular order):
-Captain Vidal
-Catherine Trammel
-Joker (Nicholson)
-John Kramer
-John Torrance
-Hannibal Lector
-Darth Vader
-Amon Goeth (Schindler's List)
-Michael Myers
-Michael Corleone

This is strictly movie's I've seen and can recall right now.
