golio's

1) Got back from Racine Wisco yesterday. Had a great time and it was a wonderful chance to pick up some fresh brats and cheese. Yea America!

2) Found out one of my oldest friends from Highschool is getting a divorce after 12 years of marriage. Apparently her husband lost his job and rather than go out and find a new one he has spent the six months waking up and drinking until he passes out.

3) Working for the muscular dystrophy association recruiting volunteers to fund raising events. Easy stuff. I'm the best of my class and the the most professional one there including the people that do it full time. The higher ups love me.

4) By the end of the month I'm going to clean up the Archives and start deleting the categories that only have one or two posts. I won't delete the post itself but simply redirect it under another category. Don't worry, "Phil is Gay" and "Bob Ass Man Griese" are safe.

Return of the Goals

1. The wedding weekend in Michigan was outstanding. Everything went well at Wheaton Joel's wedding, including the annual Friday night pool party at my parent's house, which (for the first time ever) my Dad was a part of, he was loving it. Great weekend all around, I'm still recovering. Definately the most stress free wedding I've ever been part of, gotta love that.

2. This Benoit thing has definately taken a turn for the worse...first it's murder/suicide, now they find roids at his house...and wwe is saying they're not related? I doubt it. My next guess is they find PCP or something in his system at the time. Such a shame.

3. Tigers update: Kill Todd Jones. Or at least trade him. Please. Now.

My new favorite sports blog.

Goals and things and things...

1) Dropped in zero today. First time since I've started working there. I took it as a victory because I was more consistent that anyone else on the team.
2) One of the newbies also worked at Cumberland for awhile. Although he didn't work for Jill he told someone on the team that that he had heard what a truly horrible manager she was. I laughed.
3) So my homebrew inspired my best-friend to get a kit of his own last month. Mother fucker is already on his second batch. Why? Because a) he has an empty basement and all the room in the world b) he's a got a friend who drinks 8-12 beers every night as a sleep aid. I inspire others.
4) Created a "dated" archive for our posts and increased the number of posts per page.

links

I know one of the things you guys wanted to do was to set up a links for people to go to.

Are there any links I can add to this site?

p.s. What's the link to curveball?

Hurray for the J.O.B.

J.O.B. "labeled" his article.

I'm able to list "labels" on the left, thus establishing an "archiving" system.

The issue is he labeled 5 different things for one article for "search" purposes.

I think for this to be a real "archiving" system he might just have to label it to one or two things, so we don't get an archive with 50 labels.

Does that make sense? Will this work?

name calling

So Phil and I are cool with are first names being used. J.O.B. isn't.

Where do you other two stand?

READ THIS a couple updates from your friendly neighborhood administrator

1) No organization of archives. Sorry folks. I've done the research and the only option blogger gives you is to organize it by month, week, day etc. If you want you can hit the "next blog" button several hundred times and see that nobody else can organize their archives either. I would encourage The J.O.B and Brown Turd to screw around on their sites. If you guys figure something out or find a blogger site that's organized their archives let me know. The alternative involves some extremely hefty html that I'm not about to get myself involved in. Another alternative would be to find another blog site. I know typepad can do it, but that costs dough.

2) We should be able to change the name of this blog easy. Easy as pie. The website itself we can change too, although we can only choose a site that hasn't been taken.

3) Linking is no problem. But what I need to know is if I'm the only guy that can add links. Can you guys? You don't get to categorize these either. Just list them. Again blogger is the easiest blog site to use, and in some ways it can be limiting to a mad visionary like J.O.B.

4) I clicked the "comment moderation" button. See now if you can edit your comments. If we can't, we'll figure out a way to delete people's names that don't want to be mentioned. Do we want anybody to be able to comment or just registered bloggers or what?

5) For the record I have no problem having my first name mentioned.

6) I enlarged the names on the left via some simple html. This blogger is different from the one years ago, because I forced to enlarge everything. This is as big as I could get it before the word-wrap kicked in on the word "contributors"

7) I can click a button that will send an update into an e-mail when this blog has been posted too. I don't know if I'm the only one that get's it or if we all will. Quite frankly though I think doing this eliminates the whole point of this blog, which was to eliminate the number of e-mails in our inbox. So beside Angry Whitey is there anyone else that would like this service? This is a democratic vote, I can't select who get's the update and who doesn't, and I'm not even sure if you guys will get the update or just me.

8) What else?
